Why Bluestocking?

According to Wikipedia, the term Bluestocking began as a “disparaging term, no longer in common use, for an educated, intellectual woman.”

   Ahhh–your incoming AP students will love this: more gender theme stuff. They couldn’t get enough of Chopin and Woolf!
